Hi! I'm Mandy, a certified Nutritional Therapy Consultant based out of Milwaukee, WI. I'm on a mission to empower others to take charge of their well-being through real-food recipes, cleaner household and beauty product swaps, and positive lifestyle practices.

I struggled with weight, anxiety and skin concerns for years. I was counting calories, eating processed foods that claimed to be healthy, and thought that if i "dieted harder" I would get the results that I wanted. I would stick with it for a few months until I felt exhausted and deprived. I would end up over-indulging and feeling bad for myself until I decided I needed to restrict again.

 I decided to take control of my health! I read every nutrition article I could get my hands on and went down a rabbit hole of health podcasts. I eventually enrolled in the Nutrition Therapy Consultant program through the Nutritional Therapy Association and everything changed! I finally experienced what "feeling good" really felt like, and I haven't looked back since.

food can heal 

I believe in the power of food. Even a small dietary change can make a big impact on overall wellbeing. I try to always choose foods that nourish my body. I want to provide my body with what it needs to thrive, rather than restrict. There might be times when supplements are beneficial, but food and lifestyle changes are key.

There is no diet or plan that is perfect for everyone. What's best for me may not be best for you. It's not always an easy, straightforward process, but finding what is right for YOU is the key to good health.
