Is Thrive Market Worth It?

I have been using Thrive Market for a few years now. It is a grocery delivery service that delivers natural and organic products to your door at a lower price than grocery stores. I took advantage of the 30 day free trial membership, but I was definitely unsure if it would be worth $60 to maintain the annual membership. I found that I ended up saving over $60 after just 3 orders! Heck yes! So as long as I was ordering more than 3 times a year, it was definitely worth it for me. I typically order about once a month and stock up on pantry items, and I always make sure to order $49 or more so I qualify for free shipping.

I get a lot of questions from friends and clients about Thrive Market, so I wanted to share an example of one my orders. I went to a local grocery store to compare prices of the same items. Here is the comparison:

You’ll notice that some items are significantly less expensive, like the $10 difference for a box of Epic Bars or the $8 difference for Natural Calm. Other items, like the Simple Mills crackers, are only $0.50 less. This will vary depending on what grocery store you go to and where you live. But I’ve found that, with Thrive Market, I don’t have to worry about waiting for things to go on sale or looking for coupons.

Fresh organic produce and high quality meat, seafood and eggs are still the staples in my diet, but Thrive Market helps me save money stocking my pantry so I can afford to purchase those higher quality, nutritious foods. They also include free samples in most orders so you can try new products and see if you like them before buying.

I also choose to support Thrive Market because they are a company that cares. For every paid membership, they provide a free membership to a low income family, student, teacher, veteran or first responder.

Additionally, all of the packaging and boxes are recyclable, which is just one of the ways that Thrive Market is committed to sustainability. You can learn more about their other sustainability practices here.
