Must-have AIP Pantry Staples

Preparation is KEY when using the Autoimmune Protocol! I always suggest getting your fridge and pantry gutted and restocked before starting AIP.

I will share some of my most-loved pantry staples, but please comment if you have any AIP favorites that I’m missing!

AIP Marinara - You can make your own “Nomato Sauce” like this one, but if you’d like a convenient, pre-made option I’d suggest the KC Naturals Marinara

Tigernut Flour - there are lots of options for AIP flours out there because it works well in baked goods, but mainly I love to make homemade tigernut butter with it. YUMMMM!

Cassava Pasta - Not a necessity, but a nice change of pace when you want some comfort food.

AIP Spice Blends - Buying some blends can make things more exciting and easier than selecting your own spices. I love Paleo Powder and Primal Palate.

Coconut Wraps - Throw in some greens, avocado, and meat and call it a meal!

AIP Electrolytes - There are lots of options here! Coconut water, trace mineral drops, adding sea salt to water, and LMNT unflavored.

Coconut Aminos - A delicious replacement for soy sauce. You’ll see this used in a LOT of AIP recipes.

Coconut Milk - The key to finding an AIP compliant coconut milk is finding one without sweeteners, gums, and other additives/fillers. This one is my favorite!

Collagen Peptides - Further Food is one of my favorite brands. Woman owned, 3rd party tested, eco friendly packaging. Use my code NOURISH15 for 15% off your purchase.

Nutritional Yeast - Works well to add a “cheesy” flavor to recipes.

Bone Broth - A nutrient powerhouse that supports gut health. Making your own is more cost effective. But Bonafide Provisions is my favorite store-bought brand.

AIP Coffee Alternative - There are many variations of dandelion, chicory, and carob replacements. My favorites are Sip Herbals (use code nourish10 for 10% off) and Mellow Rooster.

Also see my favorite AIP convenience snacks here! I would suggest looking into shopaip.com and Thrive Market to stock your pantry with some AIP goodies. You can read my review about Thrive Market in this post.
